Day 6

Day 6: I'm thankful for our firstborn, Connor James Hall.

He has made me appreciate being a parent.

Allowing me to live my life to the fullest.

Comforting to know we always have a special angel watching over our family.

Day 5

Thankful beyond words for my friend DeAnna and her hubby, Todd. DeAnna has been one of the most amazing women brought into my life. She's the friend I wish I wouldn't have had to meet, but completely blessed to have her in my life.

Days 3 & 4

 Weekend thankfuls--My sister and brother. They are pretty amazing siblings. We have great relationships with each other and can't imagine our lives any differently. I love that our children are all so close, literally and physically. I hope one day my children love and respect each other the way we all do.

I'm thankful for my husband, Jeremy.

We've been through so much together and I'm thankful he has stuck by my side.

Thankful-November 1st.

The next 30 days, I want to list different things I'm thankful for....

 

Day 1

 

I'm thankful for my amazing parents. They have taught me more than they will know.

 

Their love for each other and committment is amazing. Over 35 years of marriage....3 children....7 (almost 8) grandkids. I'd say they've done a wonderful job.

 

Thanks for being so awesome. Love you mom and dad!

I should be.......

 ....finishing my paper that is due on Sunday... BUT I am taking a break to post something VERY important!! Dane's FIRST HAIRCUT! :):)

He didn't stand still very well, but Mimi was able to cut off most of the fly-away hairs!

 

Dane also had his 15 month checkup this week. He weighs 28.6 lbs and is 33 inches tall. He is in the 90%ile for both height and weight! He sleeps from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Doesn't typically like being rocked to sleep--maybe once a week I will have to snuggle (oh darn!)

He LOVES basketballs (or any ball for that matter), loves to eat, and loves anything that Mia does. He watches her like a hawk!

He can sign more, please and all done.

He can say, "mama, dada, dog, up, light, ball, cup, bite/eat, more, uh (not the oh yet), and a lot of babble!

He is still a HUGE mama's boy :)

He likes to climb up on to the couch and sit like a big boy:

And I bet he would have looked just like his big brother.

Praying

For an amazing man, doctor, father, husband, uncle, teacher, coworker and friend to many....

My O.B. doctor, who I have a pretty close relationship with, was in a horrible accident last week and has suffered a brain injury along with multiple facial fractures.

He and his beautiful family (amazing wife and 5 daughters) could really use all of the prayers possible.

This man holds a very special place in my heart and doesn't realize the comfort he has brought to me and my family.

If you could, please pray for Dr. Jeffrey VanCuren.....

What an amazing man he is.
