We are bad ass.

Hey everyone.

I wasn't sure if we would post anymore on here. This is something I want to keep so that everyone can still keep in touch with us and see what this crazy world has in store for us.

This Saturday, June 28th, will Mark 3 months since Connor was born and passed. We cannot believe how fast it has all gone by. It still feels like yesterday that we got to meet our baby boy. At times it has been rough, but we both seem to be doing well. We enjoy our time together and enjoy our time with our friends. We have a wonderful family and a great group of friends that have been there for us through all of this.

I have 'accomplished' quite a bit in the past 3 months. Since we have had Connor, I have completed my second mini marathon (In Indy) and have also completed my second triathlon (at France Park). I never would have imagined myself being able to do these after my life crumbled to the ground. I have an amazing group of girls at the Y that have been my rock through all of this. I owe them all a big thank you for just 'being there'.

We are hopeful that there will be more children in our near future! We know that we will be wonderful parents.
I have actually met another woman through the Vasa Previa discussion group that has also lost a baby to undiagnosed Vasa Previa. We are going to meet for lunch and hang out and share stories. A lot of my grieving has been done with the help of DeAnna. It's like I've known her forever! We have totally hit it off....and with the help of each other--we will have uneventful pregnancies to share with one another!

Jeremy and I have a vacation planned for mid July. We scheduled it back in January for our first "family vacation". It will be a little bittersweet because this was going to be a time to show our baby to some of the family and get him used to the sand and ocean--cause that's one of mommy's favorites!!

I'll be keeping this updated every so often and posting pictures to keep you all involved in our lives.

Time to share our Angel

Here is our perfect little Angel, Connor James Hall. He's too beautiful not to share with everyone. Miss you baby boy....

This will complete the pregnancy/baby blog. Connor James Hall was born on Friday, March 28, 2008 at 8:54 a.m. He was 8 lb 1 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. He then died at 10:00 a.m. that same day due to accute anemia. I had an unknown condition called vasa previa which caused severe blood loss to Connor once my water broke.

Soooo Close!!!

38 weeks











Well I am done working until August 13th!!! I am on spring break this coming week and hopefully will have this little baby sometime in the near future! I think we have everything ready!! Tonight Jeremy and I attempted to put the car seat base and car seat in my car--not real sure if we did it right so we're going to ask Uncle Blaine to come over and see what we did wrong! Bags are packed and clothes are all washed--we are ready to go!!!! We are very fortunate because Jeremy's work gives him a 2 week paid bonding period after the baby is born--so we will have 2 weeks together to try and adjust to this new lifestyle!! :)

We had a great Easter Sunday and hope everyone else did as well. Aunt Haley and Uncle Justin are in Florida right now soaking up all the warm weather while it snowed here in Logan today...booo

We go to the Doc again on Monday the 24th....hopefully things are progressing and wel will have a little baby to show you all pretty soon!

So here we are....the last couple weeks!! I can't believe the time is here already!! It seems like just yesterday I was putting in the first blog!! This pregnancy has been so wonderful and we are so very excited to meet little baby Hall!!! Our Dr. predicted that I would probably have him during my spring break (which is the last full week in March) Aunt Haley and Uncle Justin will be down in Daytona soaking up the sun....so they are hoping he either comes right before they leave or right when they get back!! The only "new" thing that has happend is that my fingers and feet have started to swell up--just a little bit!!! I have taken off the rings just in case I start to really blow up!!! This past Wednesday I had some pretty good contractions anywhere from 5-7 minutes apart for about 2 hours. Needless to say they went away right before we went to bed.... :( We are both so ready to meet this little guy and can't wait to share him with everyone. Thanks for keeping up with us!! It won't be long now! :)

Nursery is DONE!!!!!!

36 weeks!













Well the time is getting closer and closer!!! We had a dr. appointment on March 3rd and he was not concerned with anything--so now we go back on March 17th!! Just taking it a little easier now and trying to rest up more before our little guy arrives!!

The house is cleaned and the nursery is all ready!!! We have 1 last baby shower put on by my school this coming Wednesday....then after that, he's free to come out whenever! :)
