It looks like you had a wonderful race, Mandy. What a great tribute to Connor. I wish we could have been there, but I don't think my big belly would have made it through a 5k!
You don't know me,however, I performed a google search for vasa previa awareness shirts and your story came up. I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss, and what a great tribute to your son. I had a difficult pregnancy with my son and at 24 weeks they found out that I had vasa previa with velamentous insertion of the umbilical cord. I was placed on immediate bed rest with the plan being to get me to 33 weeks and to have a c-section. My water broke at home at 30 weeks. We rushed to the hospital and within 30 minutes my son was born via emergency c -section. He spent 6 1/2 weeks in the NICU and is fine today. I am interested in the shirt that you designed for your race/walk. Please feel free to e-mail me. Also, congratulations on the pregnancy!
Mandy & Jeremy- Aaron and I wanted to let you know how wonderful the run/walk went. We're glad we could see the two of you for a little bit. We are extremely happy you have a baby girl on the way! We will have to visit you and the new babe in the hospital :) Everyday we think of Riley's Guardian Angel, Connor. We wish the best for your family! Much love, Aaron & Tabitha
