To say goodbye to the pacifier!!
We have successfully completed one full day and one full night paci-free! Naptime and bedtime aren't nearly as easy as they once were.....Instead of going right to sleep, she cries for 5-10 minutes. It's heartbreaking, but I can't send my 5 year old to school with a paci! :) It will only get harder the longer I let her have it, so we just decided to do this cold turkey!
I hope she learns a new way of self-soothing real soon....her cries are pretty pathetic, but I have been able to resist the urge to go get her out of bed and plug her up with her paci! Wish us luck!

Good luck!! I have not been brave enough to take Lilly's away yet. I am giving her 2 more months (when she turns 2!) and then it is gone!!

It is so tough...but that is what being a parent is all about...right?? doing what is best even when it's tough!! good luck!!!
