Merry Christmas at 25 weeks!
25 weeks!
Well, Christmas is over!!! I spent most of the week of Christmas in bed....with the flu. I don't think I have ever been so sick in my life!!! Friday was the first day I felt like I was getting back to normal--took a little while for my body to recover!! Besides that, we did have a good Christmas!! Got all kinds of goodies for us, some spending money....and of course little baby Hall received a few presents as well!! Lots of Purdue stuff!!! I don't have any pictures from Christmas because I was sick the whole day and the next couple of day after!! :( Oh well, there will be many more opportunities--like next year at Christmas with our baby boy!!!
Besides having the flu--the pregnancy is still going well. I have gained close to 20 lbs now!! I did lose a bit with being sick, but I think I'm right back to where I was before! Most of my t-shirts, pants, and for that matter--all other clothing is getting pretty tight these days!! I have been stealing sweatshirts out of Jeremy's closet so they're not as snug!!
Hope you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

It's Christmas Time!!
22 weeks!
"Santa" and our babies
Hey everyone!!!
Hope you are all enjoying the winter weather!!! We are up to 22 weeks now!!! I can't believe our little guy will be here in 18 weeks!! Things have been going pretty well. Jeremy has been keeping busy with his crazy work schedule and announcing Pioneer basketball games and I have been keeping busy with work and coaching swimming with my sister!! I think the busy lifestyle is catching up though. I have been fighting a nice head cold for the past couple of days. Luckily, Jeremy has some domestic abilities.....as I laid around and slept most of the day he cleaned the house, did the laundry AND cooked dinner!! What a man--wouldn't trade him for the world!! :)
The next few weeks are going to be quite busy with different families to visit at all of the Christmas dinners/celebrations. I'll do my best to keep the updates "up-to-date"!!
Take care!

Happy late Thanksgiving!!! Didn't have time last week to post!!! I was able to get my picture taken, but never had the opportunity to get on the computer!!!
This is where we are at 20 weeks!!! I have been feeling him move pretty regularly now for about 2 weeks. Jeremy was finally able to feel him moving yesterday!!! It's quite a weird/exciting feeling!!! We are going back to the doc on Dec. 3rd to see how things are going!! Hopefully he's gaining weight and doing well!!! --I've put on 12 lbs since I found out!!! Hopefully it all stays in the belly!!!
Hope you had a great holiday! Christmas will be here before we know it!!! Soon after...it will be April! :)

IT'S A....................BOY!!!!
19 Weeks!
Hey everyone!!!
We had our ultrasound today and the little BOY is 11 ounces and around 6 inches long from butt to head!!! He would be 11 inches if they could stretch him out!!!
We are having the nursery painted with some Dr. Seuss characters over the weekend, so once that's done I'll get some pictures up to see!!!
Today is my birthday--and it has been probably one of the best birthday's ever!! We are so very excited!!!
Have a good weekend and stay warm!
Ultrasound pics...
The first pic is his foot.
The second and third pictures are profile views of him.
The last pic is pointing out his little penis and testicles!!

Feeling some flutters!!!
A pic just for Sara!!! 18 weeks--in my pj's!
Hello!!
18 weeks along this week!!! I have finally felt a little bit of movement inside!! At first I wasn't sure exactly what it was, but it is getting more consistent--so I'm 99% sure it's little baby hall moving around in there!
We get to go to the doctor in one more week!! I was a little worried about things because we have 30+ kids at the school I work at with a virus called Fifth's Disease. It really isn't harmful to adults--unless you're pregnant (so I read on the handout they passed out to all of us). So I called the doc to see if I needed to be concerned. They eased my mind and told me not to worry--and even if I do get it, it's a virus and there's nothing you can do for it. So as long as they aren't worried, I guess I won't be either!
It's about time for mom to take me clothes shopping for my birthday!!! I'm down to a handful of pants that I can wear....comfortably!!! Other than that, things are going well--couldn't ask for more!!
Be sure to check back next Friday to see if it's a boy or a girl! :)

17 Weeks!
17 week belly!
Hello everyone!!!
Here we are at 17 weeks!!! Things are really starting to change!!! My belly has gotten quite a bit bigger....and it's getting harder too!!!!
We were given a doppler monitor to use during the pregnancy, so we've been listening to the heartbeat almost every night!! :) It's so neat to get home from work and check on the little fetus growing inside of me!!
Things have been hectic with Jeremy working longer hours at the office, and now I'm helping coach the high school girls' swim team!!! But we still manage to keep everything under control!!
We go find out the sex of the baby in 2 more weeks!! SO exciting!!! Be sure to check back to see what we're having!!
Take care!

168 Days to go!
16 weeks!
Hello!!!
Here we are at 16 weeks!! Not too much has changed since week 15. I think I hit a little growth spurt between 13 and 15 weeks and it has slowed down a little bit. Most of my pants are pretty hard to button and a lot of the shirts I wear are pretty tight around my belly!! I think it might be time to get some new clothes in the upcoming weeks!!!
The weather is finally changing from summer to fall--one of my favorite times of the year!! Great football weather for us to watch our Boilermakers!!!
We are counting down the days until we go in for our ultrasound!!! It should be pretty exciting!! Check back next week!!!

Baby bump!
15 weeks!
Hello There!!!
I am finally starting to "feel" pregnant!!! The past couple of weeks I have just felt like I ate way too many doughnuts and was really fat and bloated!! Now I feel like there is something actually growing inside there!! As hard as I try now, I can't suck in my gut--it's there for the next few months!!! Yay! :)
We went to the Dr. on Monday....and FINALLY got to hear the heartbeat!!! We were able to see it beating in the ultrasound at week 11, but weren't able to hear it. The doppler picked it up real quick this time around! It was very fast and sounded strong!!! He didn't give us the beats per minute, but hopefully he will next time! He said everything looks great and to continue what I've been doing!!
Our next appointment will be November 16th!!! We are scheduled for our appointment at 19 weeks and an ultrasound to check all the measurements of the baby and to find out the sex!!! What a great birthday present that will be for me! :)
Well I hope everyone is enjoying this!! It's crazy to look back just a few weeks ago to see how everything is changing!! 25 more weeks left! :)
Take care!

14 weeks and starting to grow!
Hello!!
What a week we have all had!!!! We have all had a crazy time this week because Jen was put into the hospital with some pregnancy complications. From Tuesday night on, we have been waiting to see what the Doctors were going to do with her and baby Brennan. After they decided to induce her on Wednesday night, things started to get pretty exciting!! I'm am happy to let everyone know that My brother and Jen welcomed their baby boy into this world on October 12 at 1:43 a.m. Brennan Garett Deeter-- 5 lbs 6 oz. and 17 inches long!!! He is one of the most beautiful babies!!
As far as the pregnancy goes, things are still going so well. I have gained about 6 or 7 lbs and my belly is starting to get a little more plump. Our 15 week Dr. appointment is on Monday, so we will see just how well things are progressing.
Clothes are getting extremely tight around my belly, but I'm just not quite ready for maternity clothes. Soon enough though...I'll finally "look" pregnant and people won't wonder why I've gotten a little think around the middle!
Hope you all enjoy the pictures of my beautiful nephew!!!
Check back next week!

A little Delay....
13 weeks!!
Hey there!
A little delay in the entry this week....the camera was MIA. So this is the end of the 13th week!! Things have been going very well. I've put on some weight and most of my pants will hardly button!! Not quite big enough for maternity clothes yet, but my regular ones are just not fitting real well!! It's a chore in the morning to try and find something to wear to work! Too bad they wouldn't let me wear sweatpants and t-shirt because that's all I really feel like wearing now.
Thanks to our generous cousins and sister, baby's room is filled with all kinds of goodies!! So far we have 2 carseats, a stroller, bouncy seat, swing, and thing for the bathtub. We are well on our way already!!! Aunt Haley keeps buying stuff.....she brought over a Purdue receiving blanket and a Purdue pacifier. And baby's "aunt" Maria bought baby hall a Purdue onesie and it's first Harry's t-shirt! Hope the baby likes Purdue!! :) We hope someday it will be a boilermaker just like mom and dad!
We've been busy the past 2 weekends attending the home Purdue football games. Sometimes I feel like a party pooper later at night when everyone's ready to go out afterwards and I just want to go home!!! Lately, they've been long, hot days and by the time 9:00 rolls around I'm ready to go to bed!!
Our next doctor's appointment will be in another week, so it will be exciting to see how much everything has changed since last month!!
Hope you're all enjoying this warm October weather!!
Take care!

Enjoying the ride.....
Growing belly at 12 weeks!
Hey there!!!
This week is a boring week....not too much new or exciting to report here. Been a slow week and just ready for the big weekend! The Notre Dame/Purdue game is this weekend in West Lafayette, so it's time for a big tailgate with all of our friends!!
I've been feeling great and peeing less often--Finally!! The past two nights I haven't had to get up in the middle of the night....that's been nice!
Going to keep this short and sweet!! Just had to update the weekly picture....
Check back in another week!! :)

Life is good.....
Hey all!!
Here it is at week 11!!! Some exciting news for this week..... We had a doctor appt. on Monday the 17th. Jeremy and I were both very excited because this was the first appointment where the doctor would let us listen to the baby's heartbeat. When the doctor wasn't able to find it with the doppler, we were both a little disappointed. He said it didn't show up on there for many reasons and not to be worried. Instead of packing up and leaving, the doctor took us back to the ultrasound room and we actually got to see the baby and it's little heart beating away. Wow...what a rush that was. It was finally "real"....there is something actually growing inside there!! He was nice enough to print out a couple of ultrasound pictures for us and now we've been showing off our little inch and a half fetus! :) Everytime I look at it I just still can't believe it!! It was such a nice way to start off the week! Our next appointment will be mid-October....so we can't wait for that!!
My body is starting to change and putting on some lbs!!! My pants are slowly getting tighter each day.....and I've pretty much grown out of all of my bras (if you cared). I hope you are all enjoying the updates!! Keep in touch!!

10 Weeks!
Here it is, week 10!
Hello!
Well, we are at week number 10!! Things have been going a bit better!!! I think I'm finally getting rid of the bronchitis I had. I went to the doctor last Thursday because I couldn't get rid of this nasty cough and the doctor put me on some medicine to help get rid of it a little faster. Besides the bronchitis, things have been going great! Feeling just fine--I just get a little more tired earlier at night. I think I am out of the woods as far as morning sickness....I must be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get that! whew!
We had our first home Purdue football game this past weekend. We were both really excited to get our first tailgate of the season underway, but the day ended up being kind of crummy. About halfway through the second quarter we got stuck in a downpour in the stadium. After that, the rest of the afternoon was cold and wet. Not many people stayed to tailgate afterwards, so we packed up early and came home and took a nice long nap! Now we get to do it all over again this weekend, but hopefully minus the rain. The weather is supposed to be a bit cooler and beautiful--we'll keep our fingers crossed!
Next week will be pretty exciting, can't wait to tell you about our doctor's appt. where we get to hear the baby's heartbeat!!!
Check back soon!

Happy Anniversary!
Up to 9 weeks!!
Hello Again!!!!
Well this past weekend was very busy for us!!! On Friday we traveled to Toledo, OH to watch the first Purdue football game of the season. Jeremy got to see all of his old buddies from Purdue. I tried not to ruin his weekend by being sick with a head cold and an annoying cough. Purdue dominated and beat Toledo 52 to 24!!!! We drove back home on Sunday (our 1 year anniversary!) We hung out at my parents house for a little while and ate our cake top from our wedding day. The cake was marvelous!!! There's only 1 small piece left now! Then Sunday night we decided to go camping out at France Park. Around 1 a.m. I was feeling pretty sick....couldn't breathe and couldn't stop coughing. So I figured if I wanted to feel better that I should go home and sleep in my own bed--so I did! And note to self--don't go camping when you're pregnant and have to pee in the woods every hour--not so much fun!
All in all we had a great long weekend together and I'm starting to feel a bit better today. Jeremy is on vacation all week, so that means no housework for me this week!! I can just relax and take it easy when I get home from work! :)
Still feeling great as far as the pregnancy goes--minus the slight cold I'm fighting!! Feel like my pants aren't fitting quite like they used to......
2 more weeks and we can report our Dr. visit--we will get to listen to the heartbeat and we're so excited!!!
Hope you enjoy the short work week!

Up to week 8!
Here it is....8 weeks.... I am already feeling fatter!
Hello!!!
Well, we are now on week 8!! Not a whole lot has changed, YET!! I have gained 3 lbs......hopefully I won't put on too much weight too fast!! I have been feeling great (up until this morning). Today I woke up with the first signs of a headcold! BOOO!! I have a pretty good feeling it might be from all the little kiddos I've been around at work. It stinks because I can't take any medicine to help knock me out at night, so I'll have to suffer a little bit this week--hopefully it'll be out of my system within a week!!
We did get our first baby gift from Haley and Justin. It's an adorable Purdue bib!! I have been SO good and haven't bought anything "baby".....yet!! I'm sure that will be much harder once we find out the sex of the baby! But that won't be until late November early December.
We're hitting the road this weekend and traveling to Toledo, OH to watch the first Purdue football game of the season!!! Hopefully it will be a winning season for our Boilermakers!!
Thanks for checking in!!

Just another week.....
This is Jeremy with his "baby"....just wait till the new one arrives!!!
Week number 7 (not much changing...besides my growing boobs!)
Hello Again!!!
It's week number 7!! So far, everything is still going really well!!! We are on track and can't wait for the next Dr. appointment so we can hear the baby's heartbeat!
Not really too much to complain about or report. One minor thing....I haven't quite experienced morning sickness--yet. I did wake up Monday morning (the 20th) not feeling real great. I spent 30 minutes in the shower and then another 10 just sitting, waiting, wondering if I was going to be sick. I don't know if it was the pregnancy or the Chinese food we had for dinner the night before not agreeing with me!! We'll hope it was the Chinese food!!! I woke up early this morning--before the alarm--and felt great. So maybe that will be my run of feeling icky in the a.m. I can only hope!
Jeremy has been great so far. He's been dealing with my inability to accept the zits forming on my face and me feeling fat and bloated!!! It's always better once he's home and gives me a hug--somehow that makes my problems and worries go away. He's been on top of what's happening to me and my body and reminds me that these things are normal in pregnancy. (he's been keeping up on "What to Expect When Expecting") God love him--he's so great.
Every time I see a little baby I get more and more excited. I asked Jeremy the other day if he had ever changed a poopy diaper.... He said no, but he's seen it done. Ohh....parenthood will be quite exciting!!! I know that he will be great and will probably spoil the baby more than I will!!!
So that's all for week number 7. Hopefully in the next few weeks things will start to get a little more exciting. Can't wait!!
Thanks for checking in!

Here is my belly at 6 weeks!!
Hey everyone!!
Well, I went to the Doctor on Friday the 10th and everything is going well so far! The projected due date for this little baby is April 10, 2008. This means no mini marathon or triathlon for me next summer, but hopefully soon after I will be back to normal!!
By now, I'm pretty sure most all of the family knows as well as our friends. Everyone has seemed very happy and a little surprised!! We decided to start trying while we were in Jamaica because we weren't sure how long it would take to get pregnant. Many people have told us how sometimes it can take a year, so we figured we'd start trying now and maybe in a year we'd be pregnant. WELL, things worked in our favor and now baby hall is on the way!!! We are both overjoyed and cannot wait to be parents!
As far as I go....I'm feeling great. (Fingers crossed)...no morning sickness and really no complaints! Only 32 weeks left!! :)
