Day 19:
I'm thankful for my speech kids.
They make me love my job. Each child that walks in my door lights up my world. Some of the kids I see come from very poor homes and not much love and compassion. The hugs and praises that the kids receive from me may be the only time they hear and feel that. It saddens me, but also makes me realize how lucky I was growing up to have 2 parents who loved each other and their children. I hope my kids feel the same way.
