Day 22

Day 22:

Today I'm thankful for the ability to run and be healthy.

Thankful for the delicious meal I was able to share with my family.

We feel so blessed....even though this picture shows minus one, our beautiful family of 5 is the greatest blessing of all.

Day 21

Day 21:

I'm thankful for  the OB staff at Memorial Hospital. They have seen me at my saddest and they have see me at my happiest. A very special thanks to Tammy and Becky. All of the girls up there are absolutely wonderful and do an amazing job.

There are not enough ways to thank them for helping me deliver the most precious gifts I've ever received.

I'm thankful for my dear friend, Robin. 

We don't even have to say much to understand a lot.

So thankful to have you in my life.

Day 19

Day 19:

I'm thankful for my speech kids.

They make me love my job. Each child that walks in my door lights up my world. Some of the kids I see come from very poor homes and not much love and compassion. The hugs and praises that the kids receive from me may be the only time they hear and feel that. It saddens me, but also makes me realize how lucky I was growing up to have 2 parents who loved each other and their children. I hope my kids feel the same way.



Day 18

I'm thankful for Nova Southeastern University for allowing me to obtain my Master's Degree.

I completed all of my coursework as of tonight.

5 days left at my externship and that's it!

What. A. Relief!

Day 17:

Thankful for all of the wonderful kids at Mia's daycare. They are all so sweet.

And we also LOVE Miss Ashley, Christina, Mary and Netty!

Day 16

I'm thankful for my health.

I turned 30 today.

I feel great.

I have a beautiful family.

I'm finishing up my master's degree at the end of the month.

My 20s were great. Can't wait to see what my 30s have to offer.

 

My friends and family know me all too well.

Day 12 I'm thankful for this great group of girls who surpried me with a trip to Florida for my 30th birthday. We had an absolute blast and I'm so fortunate that we were able to take this trip.

Weekend thankfuls

I'm thankful for my education from Purdue. 

I'm thankful that the 2 children that are here with us are beautiful, healthy and happy. Have the ability to climb and fight and play with one another.

Blessed beyond words how thankful we are to have Nina and Poppy watch our kids while we work.

Day 7

 Day 7:

I'm thankful for this precious little girl--who was born on the 7th, at 7 p.m. and weighed 7 lbs. If she plays any sports where she wears a number, I'm guessing it's going to have to be 7!

 

She lights up my life.

She's goofy.

Full of drama.

And SO full of love.

To my second born...I'm SO VERY thankful for you.

Day 6

Day 6: I'm thankful for our firstborn, Connor James Hall.

He has made me appreciate being a parent.

Allowing me to live my life to the fullest.

Comforting to know we always have a special angel watching over our family.

Thankful beyond words for my friend DeAnna and her hubby, Todd. DeAnna has been one of the most amazing women brought into my life. She's the friend I wish I wouldn't have had to meet, but completely blessed to have her in my life.

Days 3 & 4

 Weekend thankfuls--My sister and brother. They are pretty amazing siblings. We have great relationships with each other and can't imagine our lives any differently. I love that our children are all so close, literally and physically. I hope one day my children love and respect each other the way we all do.

I'm thankful for my husband, Jeremy.

We've been through so much together and I'm thankful he has stuck by my side.

Thankful-November 1st.

The next 30 days, I want to list different things I'm thankful for....

 

Day 1

 

I'm thankful for my amazing parents. They have taught me more than they will know.

 

Their love for each other and committment is amazing. Over 35 years of marriage....3 children....7 (almost 8) grandkids. I'd say they've done a wonderful job.

 

Thanks for being so awesome. Love you mom and dad!

I should be.......

 ....finishing my paper that is due on Sunday... BUT I am taking a break to post something VERY important!! Dane's FIRST HAIRCUT! :):)

He didn't stand still very well, but Mimi was able to cut off most of the fly-away hairs!

 

Dane also had his 15 month checkup this week. He weighs 28.6 lbs and is 33 inches tall. He is in the 90%ile for both height and weight! He sleeps from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Doesn't typically like being rocked to sleep--maybe once a week I will have to snuggle (oh darn!)

He LOVES basketballs (or any ball for that matter), loves to eat, and loves anything that Mia does. He watches her like a hawk!

He can sign more, please and all done.

He can say, "mama, dada, dog, up, light, ball, cup, bite/eat, more, uh (not the oh yet), and a lot of babble!

He is still a HUGE mama's boy :)

He likes to climb up on to the couch and sit like a big boy:

And I bet he would have looked just like his big brother.

Praying

For an amazing man, doctor, father, husband, uncle, teacher, coworker and friend to many....

My O.B. doctor, who I have a pretty close relationship with, was in a horrible accident last week and has suffered a brain injury along with multiple facial fractures.

He and his beautiful family (amazing wife and 5 daughters) could really use all of the prayers possible.

This man holds a very special place in my heart and doesn't realize the comfort he has brought to me and my family.

If you could, please pray for Dr. Jeffrey VanCuren.....

What an amazing man he is.

South Haven

 We spent the weekend in South Haven with my entire family (they were able to stay the whole week, but my grad school externship kept us from the vacation during the week) :(

It's so beautiful and relaxing in South Haven. I can't wait to go back!
