10/15

I had a beautiful, full term baby boy who died. I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks in September 2008. Today is a day they are both nationally remembered. It is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I will be lighting a candle at 7:00 to remember mine. Who will you be lighting a candle for?
This is a poem one of my best friends Mandy B. wrote and gave to us on Connor's 1st Birthday. I thought today would be a perfect day to share it.
Our Angel
Hello our little angel,
Has it already been a year?
We are looking to the future,
But always wishing you were here.
You're the brightest little angel,
We see your spirit glow,
We see it in the stars at night,
We love your twinkle show.
You're the cutest little angel,
Your face, your dad's and mine.
Your tiny fingers and perfect nose,
We long to see in time.
You're our favorite little angel,
A boy we love so much,
A gift we miss so dearly,
A dream we long to touch.
God watches you our angel,
He protects you and keeps you warm,
We feel at ease knowing he is there,
To keep you from any harm.
Be at peace our little angel,
Mommy and Daddy know,
You love us as much as we love you,
Through you our lives will grow.
So for now our little angel,
We'll wait to hold you again,
It's not a matter of if or how,
But just a matter of when.
Hello, our little angel,
Has it already been a year?
We'll never say goodbye to you,
but always wish that you were here.
Thank you Mandy B. Love you.
So light a candle at 7 p.m. Help us remember those that have been lost.....
Love and miss you like crazy sweet Connor James. Mommy, Daddy & Mia LOVE LOVE LOVE you so much!
