17 weeks. ONE POUND! REALLY?

Seriously, ONE POUND? WOOHOO!

This pregnancy, as you know, I am being proactive about my weight gain. I thought for sure--due to the size of my belly--that I had gained AT LEAST 4 or 5 lbs. When I got on the scale on saw this, I just had to take a picture! HA! That, and so you can see that I'm not lying about my weight! I still swimming a couple times a week and teaching aerobics at the Y. (Jenn is getting a little too pregnant to keep teaching) :) So I have stepped in and try and help her out as much as I can!

Ohhhh. That flat stomach I feel like I'll never see again--at 6 weeks.

And HOLY BABY! What in the heck happend to that small baby bump? (Jeremy will be mad, I forgot to close his closet doors!)

So this "baby bump" has become a little more noticeable! I have the CUTEST little special ed girl at work. On Monday, she looked up at me while I was working with her and she says, "Hall (she calls me just by my last name) you got a baby in your belly?" I couldn't help but laugh and said, yes I sure do!! She looked at my belly again and just said, "ohhh." And that was the end of that conversation! :) I have had a couple other speech kids look at me funny and I know that some of them are afraid to ask because they know what happend and they don't want to upset me. Sometimes they will come in and look at the picture of Connor on my desk, look at me and just sit down. I've had some kids ask who it was and I tell them and then they either ask what happend again or they just kinda say ok and sit down.

Ummm, I don't know if you noticed, but I've done over 1000.

That's just me being silly the night before Haley's baby shower--just showing off the 'guns'.
Have you ever seen a frozen hot tub? Yah, me neither!
So we have a frozen hot tub. This is my second home--when I'm not pregnant. And considering I've been pregnant 3 times since July '07, I haven't gotten to enjoy this as much as I wanted. I'm pretty sure that once this giant chunk of ice thaws out, the hot tub will be ruined. I used my coaching money from spring swim team to purchase this (I paid $700 for it). Jeremy called the insurance company to see about processing a claim on our homeowners insurance for it. We have a $500 deductible.....I'm not sure if it would even be worth to pay it--if we are even able to fix it. We haven't decided what we're going to do yet. Maybe we'll get lucky and when it thaws out the pipes inside will be perfectly fine and will run like a champ. Highly doubt it. Nice to think positive though, right?

Mandy,
Hi...this is Julie Byrd, Nicole's Mom. Would it be possible to speak to you by phone? I know a very dear friend that lost her baby the day he was born. I don't know what to do or how to help. I thought of you because of everything you have done and are doing to remember Conner. Please call me if you can..my number is 765-490-6169. I will be at Conner's 5K Walk with Nicole!!
Thanks....
