We got a new comforter for our bed! :)

16 week belly picture with Hall baby #2!
Wow. It just feels like yesterday that I was looking down at a positive pregnancy test. This pregnancy has been going great. I feel great and don't have any complaints. It's a lot like my pregnancy with Connor--no morning sickness or any other yucky stuff. Well, I take that back.. When I was pregnant with Connor, I fought a week long headache between my 2nd and 3rd trimester. My nurse told me that it was just from changing hormones and that they would slowly go away. When I transitioned from the 1st to 2nd trimester with this pregnancy--I fought a week long headache. I had to take tylenol every for hours--on the dot, or else my head would continue to pound. After a week, it just stopped and hasn't come back!!!!
Some exciting news....I was sitting at the middle school yesterday doing hearing screenings and thought I felt a 'thud' in my tummy. I wasn't sure if it was baby or maybe a gas bubble....? When I got home later that night and just sat, I felt that 'thud' many more times. I didn't have gas, so I'm PRETTY SURE it was the little guy/gal in there bumping around! I love that feeling and hope I feel it a lot more--and hope that Jeremy is able to feel it too here pretty soon!!!
Baby weight..... So I got on the scale this morning (with just undies and a tank top!) :) And I was pretty surprised at the number I saw: 142. The same weight I was at 6 weeks, and every other week following. I think last week I actually weighed 143, but who knows how much junk food I had probably eaten that night before! haha I'm sure within the next week or so I'll probably jump like 5 lbs! I have been really trying to work out more--getting up in the mornings and working out before swim practices, and any other chance I have. I just feel so much better after working out, and there is such a great group of girls that I have made friends with at the Y that make working out a lot of fun.
Haley, Cyndi and myself all signed up for the Indianapolis mini marathon 5k. I have run the mini twice, and unfortunately, won't be able to run it this year. Actually, I probably could walk it, but I'm not sure how much fun that would be at almost 30 weeks pregnant. So that's why we have decided to walk/run the 5k that takes place the same morning as the Indy Mini. Just to be down there in that atmosphere is so exciting and tons of fun. It will be neat to be on the other side of the fence watching all of the mini runners crossing the finish line. I know crossing it last year was just a huge accomplishment for Cyndi and I. I will probably cry watching strangers finishing!!
You are all going to probably think I'm crazy. But I'm also going to compete in an Adult swim meet (with Cyndi) on February 28th, over at Pioneer high school. A high school girl is organizing this event to help raise money for the special olympics--and to give adults who like to swim, a chance to compete. So as long as the pool heater at the Y remains fixed--we plan on hitting the pool a few mornings every week to get ready!!! Now, I just have to find a bathing suit to accommodate this belly I've got going on!
We have 40 people signed up for Connor's 5k run/walk!!! We have received lots of entries this past week!!! So with just those 40 entries, we have already raised $600 to go towards the donation for the Vasa Previa foundation. My goal is to send at least $1500 to them, let hope we can get there!!!!!
3 more days of swim season left--and I can't wait to be able to come home after work and enjoy some time with my husband and dogs!!! Hope you're all having a good week!

You look so cute! The comforter is nice, too. =)
Love the comforter!
You look great! Isn't it exciting to feel little one? I feel a few little things here and there - nothing big. So much fun!
I am so jealous, but proud of you, for staying so active. I played tennis throughout my first, but I have done NOTHING with this one. I don't know - I think part of it is my constant sinus congestion. But I do get inspired every time I read your posts!!
I hope you continue to feel great! Yay!!
I don't know Mandy, this baby's "bump" looks a lot higher up then Connor's bump! Boys tend to sit lower than girls do!!! (wink wink)
