Wow..... 7 months....

It's so crazy that it has been 7 months since we lost our little guy. It still feels like it just all happened yesterday....
I found this awesome website that you can play around with your photos, it's called http://www.picnik.com/ That's how I altered Connor's picture. You can save them to your computer and then print them too! I sent my pictures that I made up to CVS and picked them up this morning. I made 2 5x7's of him, one in black and white and the other in sepia. When our basement gets done, which will hopefully be SOON, I will get to hang them up down there!
We had a really good weekend and hopefully another good weekend ahead of us. As soon as I have more time, I will post more pictures!!!
High school girls' swim season has begun, so I'll be busy with that until the first week in February!!

A night in Indy

Todd and DeAnna

Jeremy and me

Us at the Cheesecake Factory!

Friday Jeremy and I both had the day off and spent the whole day working on the basement. After we hung some drywall, we got cleaned up and headed to Indy to meet our friends Todd and DeAnna. I met DeAnna through the Vasa Previa email discussion group and we have become such good friends. We talk pretty much everyday--well text/talk :) We met them at the Cheesecake Factory down in Greenwood for dinner. We all had a nice dinner and then all ordered desserts!!! Mine was too much to handle!!

After dinner Jeremy and I went and checked in to our hotel downtown. We were meeting another couple, Mark and Missy, at Crackers Comedy club. We were able to see 3 comedians. The 1st guy kinda sucked--he just talked about his stretchmarks and his man boobs....hmmm yeah.. The second guy was pretty funny and actually told one really annoying drunk guy to "get the hell out". The main performer was Scott Henry, and he was pretty funny!! We laughed most of the night and had a good time hanging out with Mark and Missy. We weren't allowed to take any pictures inside the club, so unfortunately, I don't have any to post of us!!

Saturday night Jeremy's band performed in Kokomo, so I just sat at home with the dogs and watched TV. I got pretty bored, but sometimes it's nice to just sit at home and do nothing!

I've got a short work week this week! I only work Monday, Tuesday and then until noon on Wednesday. I'm going to work on getting sponsors for Connor's run while I'm off work. Hopefully with the sucking economy, people will still want to donate!

Friday I'm meeting my friend, Maria, in Indy and we are going to get massages!! It will be so great to spend the day with her!

We have a ceiling!!

My apologies for my slightly possessed
looking dog--she really is cute!!!

My man working oh so hard!

Here are a few pictures to update you on the progress of our basement!!! Jeremy and I both had personal days today so we were able to work on putting up the ceiling in the basement. This has been quite the project!!! It's looking more and more like an actual 'living space' now. I can't wait to pick out paint, carpet and furniture!!! If anyone likes to paint, let me know--I'll put you to work! :)

October 15, Every year, 7:00 p.m.

Rest in peace little man, we love and miss you.

I received this website from a friend. http://www.october15th.com/.This is an official site to honor those babies created and then unfortunately lost. Due to.......miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth and infant death. This is called Pregnancy and Infant Loss Rememberance Day. If you would like, check out the site. If you don't want to go to it, please just light a candle at 7:00 p.m. on 10/15. You will help honor all of those precious little babies who are enjoying their beautiful lives up in heaven. I will be lighting 2 candles. One for Connor, and one for our miscarriage on 9/13. Feel free to leave comments about your own loss.

McDonald's River Bluff 5k Run

Mom, Haley and me after the 5k

Mom and I won medals in our age groups!
I got 3rd and she got 1st!!

Me, Ronald and Haley. He was slightly
creepy....

3 weekends, 3 5K runs!!! The past 2 races I have been running in the high 26 minute range. My goal this race was to break 26 minutes. As I approached the 3 mile marker I was right at 25 minutes.....I knew that I could do the last tenth of a mile in less than a minute. So I turned my iPod to Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" and cruised on in to the finish line with a time of 25:54!!!
Haley did very well this race with a time of 33:21. Mom was able to run the entire race and she finished with a time of 37:37. It was a beautiful day and I was able to enjoy it with 2 of my best friends :)

I'm not sure when the next 5K will be!!! But we are all going to be running in the 4 mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. If you've never done it, you should try it--it's so much fun!

Happy 1st Birthday Brennan!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!!!!

Haley and I sporting our party hats.

Brennan's Zoo cake!

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!

Yummy Cake!!!

Today we celebrated Brennan's 1st Birthday!!! I can't believe it has been a year already!! He is such a big boy now! His mom and dad put on a wonderful party at Pizza Hut. Brennan received LOTS of cool toys and some very cute clothes....and Grandma and Grandpa Deeter bought Brennan a pair of Jordan's. We had a great time and can't wait to celebrate again!!

My FIRST eBay purchase!!!!!

So there was a lot of excitment tonight as I made my VERY FIRST purchase on eBay! Little Baby Ramer will have a baby shower coming up here in the next couple of months and we will need some decorations for him!!!! Haley had a slight eBay obsession before Connor arrived--looks like I might be following in her footsteps!! So here is the first, of hopefully, not too many purchases!!
Ok, back to ebay to search for more items! :)

Just had to share...

Zoe loves it when mommy does laundry. She
will wait by the dryer while I take the clothes
out and follow me to the bed.

Jeremy made some apple crisp with the
apples our awesome neighbor had given
us. YUM!

As you can see...it was delicious. My bowl
is empty. That was my second helping! :)

A good weekend.

Maria, Mandy, and me at the PU/Penn St.
game!!

Me and Jeremy tailgating!

Steven and Lindsey came to visit!!

All of us girls before the Women's Only
5K run in Kokomo on 10/3.

Brennan came to cheer on his favorite
Aunts! :)

Haley and I after the race!

What a beautiful and fun weekend!! Started off the weekend Friday night with a Women's only 5K run. A few of us girls talked about running this race and turns out we had a rather large group of girls from Logansport that all came out for the race! It was a great race--weather was just a bit chilly. The course was hilly and run all around downtown Kokomo!! Half the time I didn't even know where I was!! I ended up placing 17th overall!! I am pretty happy with my finish and time-- 26:42. It's a few seconds slower than the race last weekend, but this course was a bit more challenging! Haley improved her time by over a minute, though! So I guess I don't have a good excuse!

Saturday we left home nice and early to meet friends at Purdue for some tailgating action before the Purdue/Penn State game. The weather has finally changed and now it is is little colder sitting outside for 3 1/2 hours before the game begins! We are true Boilermaker fans! :) Althought Purdue lost, we still had a great time hanging out with our friends. Steven and Lindsey, the kids I used to babysit, came down to the tailgate after the game with their mom! It was so good to see them again! Crazy to think that when I first met Lindsey she was crawling!! Time has flown by!

Jeremy's softball league has started up, so I usually go watch him play softball once or twice a week. I look like his crazy wife because I was taking pictures of him at his last game! :) Oh well. He plays first base and he's pretty good out there!!

Our friends Maria and Mike are coming to visit us and watch some football today. Hope you all have a wonderful week. This fall weather sure does put me in a good mood!
