Pray for Ellyn

My friend, Ellyn, could really use a lot of extra prayer tonight. She is 32 weeks pregnant and is having an emergency c-section on her little girl right now. She is without this special bear--it was supposed to be making it's way to Florida tomorrow, but little baby "bindi" couldn't wait, so we're making do with posting pictures of this watchful eye.

This was Seth's Birthday bear representing Eli watching over him in the NICU. She so graciously sent him on to me to watch over during Mia's birth.

Thankful for those tiny little hands that made her turkey's feathers.........

I've been experimenting...... Mia has decided to NOT sleep through the night anymore :( We stopped swaddling her and thought maybe that was why. Come to find out, we think that she wasn't getting quite enough to eat. She has gone from eating 3-5 oz bottles at Christina's to eating 3-7 oz bottles!! She's a HUNGRY GIRL!!!!! I even broke down and tried cereal Monday night. She ended up with more on her clothes than in her tummy, I think! That was a rough night...she was up 4 times, so I don't know if the cereal gave her a tummy ache or what happened!!!

No more cereal mommy. Dr. Reyes said I didn't need it :)

What can I say, Mia is AWESOME! We are so in love with this beautiful, blue eyed girl. She has a new bedtime, it's now between 7:30 & 8:00 (usually closer to 7:30) and then sleeps until 5 or 6 a.m. She is still being swaddled because she doesn't sleep thru the night if she isn't--we'll work on breaking that soon, maybe over my Thanksgiving break! Mia has learned how to motorboat, it's so funny!!! Hopefully will get that video up soon!

She goes to the Dr. this Friday for her wellness checkup and shots. I'll post how big our baby girl has gotten after her checkup!

You guess it! Dr. Seuss! Guess who loves to look at books and listen to mommy read them to her? I'll give you a hint--she's got blue eyes and a cute little dimple under her left eye!!!

I thank God every night for this beautiful blessing.

She's going to tell you all about it!

Mia was hanging out on her papaw's lap today and decided to tell us lots of stories!!!! She went on and on all afternoon!!! She has gained quite the personality and mommy & daddy are just LOVING it!!

She has stolen our hearts....
