Enjoying the ride.....
Growing belly at 12 weeks!
Hey there!!!
This week is a boring week....not too much new or exciting to report here. Been a slow week and just ready for the big weekend! The Notre Dame/Purdue game is this weekend in West Lafayette, so it's time for a big tailgate with all of our friends!!
I've been feeling great and peeing less often--Finally!! The past two nights I haven't had to get up in the middle of the night....that's been nice!
Going to keep this short and sweet!! Just had to update the weekly picture....
Check back in another week!! :)

Life is good.....
Hey all!!
Here it is at week 11!!! Some exciting news for this week..... We had a doctor appt. on Monday the 17th. Jeremy and I were both very excited because this was the first appointment where the doctor would let us listen to the baby's heartbeat. When the doctor wasn't able to find it with the doppler, we were both a little disappointed. He said it didn't show up on there for many reasons and not to be worried. Instead of packing up and leaving, the doctor took us back to the ultrasound room and we actually got to see the baby and it's little heart beating away. Wow...what a rush that was. It was finally "real"....there is something actually growing inside there!! He was nice enough to print out a couple of ultrasound pictures for us and now we've been showing off our little inch and a half fetus! :) Everytime I look at it I just still can't believe it!! It was such a nice way to start off the week! Our next appointment will be mid-October....so we can't wait for that!!
My body is starting to change and putting on some lbs!!! My pants are slowly getting tighter each day.....and I've pretty much grown out of all of my bras (if you cared). I hope you are all enjoying the updates!! Keep in touch!!

10 Weeks!
Here it is, week 10!
Hello!
Well, we are at week number 10!! Things have been going a bit better!!! I think I'm finally getting rid of the bronchitis I had. I went to the doctor last Thursday because I couldn't get rid of this nasty cough and the doctor put me on some medicine to help get rid of it a little faster. Besides the bronchitis, things have been going great! Feeling just fine--I just get a little more tired earlier at night. I think I am out of the woods as far as morning sickness....I must be one of the lucky ones that doesn't get that! whew!
We had our first home Purdue football game this past weekend. We were both really excited to get our first tailgate of the season underway, but the day ended up being kind of crummy. About halfway through the second quarter we got stuck in a downpour in the stadium. After that, the rest of the afternoon was cold and wet. Not many people stayed to tailgate afterwards, so we packed up early and came home and took a nice long nap! Now we get to do it all over again this weekend, but hopefully minus the rain. The weather is supposed to be a bit cooler and beautiful--we'll keep our fingers crossed!
Next week will be pretty exciting, can't wait to tell you about our doctor's appt. where we get to hear the baby's heartbeat!!!
Check back soon!

Happy Anniversary!
Up to 9 weeks!!
Hello Again!!!!
Well this past weekend was very busy for us!!! On Friday we traveled to Toledo, OH to watch the first Purdue football game of the season. Jeremy got to see all of his old buddies from Purdue. I tried not to ruin his weekend by being sick with a head cold and an annoying cough. Purdue dominated and beat Toledo 52 to 24!!!! We drove back home on Sunday (our 1 year anniversary!) We hung out at my parents house for a little while and ate our cake top from our wedding day. The cake was marvelous!!! There's only 1 small piece left now! Then Sunday night we decided to go camping out at France Park. Around 1 a.m. I was feeling pretty sick....couldn't breathe and couldn't stop coughing. So I figured if I wanted to feel better that I should go home and sleep in my own bed--so I did! And note to self--don't go camping when you're pregnant and have to pee in the woods every hour--not so much fun!
All in all we had a great long weekend together and I'm starting to feel a bit better today. Jeremy is on vacation all week, so that means no housework for me this week!! I can just relax and take it easy when I get home from work! :)
Still feeling great as far as the pregnancy goes--minus the slight cold I'm fighting!! Feel like my pants aren't fitting quite like they used to......
2 more weeks and we can report our Dr. visit--we will get to listen to the heartbeat and we're so excited!!!
Hope you enjoy the short work week!
